Jingdezhen 25 cm (10”) rice porcelain plate with blue and white pattern. The edge of the plate has a porcelain rice pattern. A unique porcelain that transmits light through rice grain pattern. Thanks to a special manufacturing technology. The pattern was made by putting rice into the clay that burned up when it was fired.
A beautiful handmade Chinese rice grain Dragon pattern dinner plate.
It is decorated by hand in Jingdezhen. In a couple of places, the rice grain has left deeper holes when burned than in others (last picture). Good Vintage Condition.
